Durham Bulls schedule, ticket information and promos for 2024 season
The Durham Bulls' home opener is set for Tuesday night against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. It is the start of a six-game homestand for the Bulls.

Tuesday night marks the Durham Bulls’ home opener at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning to attend a Durham Bulls game in 2024.

- April 23-28 against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders
- May 7-12 against the Nashville Sounds
- May 21-26 against the Memphis Redbirds
- June 4-9 against the Gwinnett Stripers
- June 11-16 against the Charlotte Knights
- May 25-30 against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs
- July 4-6 against the Norfolk Tides
- July 23-28 against the Gwinnett Stripers
- July 30-Aug. 4 against the Memphis Redbirds

Parking near Durham Bulls Athletic Park
Public parking is available in the North, South and East parking decks for $7 per car. Cash is not accepted.
The North Deck is along Jackson Street near Julian Carr Street.
The South Deck is along Jackie Robinson Drive between Julian Carr Street and Blackwell Street.
There is also the East Deck along South Mangum Street.
Bag policy at Durham Bulls Athletic Park
Bags or containers larger than 16 inches x 16 inches x 8 inches are not permitted inside Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
Bags within the permitted size do not need to be clear bags. However, all bags are subject to search before entry into the ballpark.
Diaper bags and medical bags larger than 16 inches x 16 inches x 8 inches are permitted.
Food and concessions at Durham Bulls Athletic Park
The Bulls are bringing back two popular food promos:
- Tacos and tallboys Tuesday: Enjoy $2 tacos and $5 select tallboy canned beers at every Tuesday evening home game at the DBAP starting May 16.
- Dollar dog Thursday: Fans can enjoy Sahlen's hot dogs for just $1 at every Thursday evening home game at Durham Bulls Athletic Park this season.
- Brookwood Farms BBQ - served at the Home Plate and Right Field BBQ Stands
- Chick-fil-A (locally owned franchise) - stand located in the Main Concourse on the first base side next to the Foothills Beer Garden & Bar
- El Jefecito Tacos - stand located in left field near the left field entrance in front of the Snorting Bull
- Jimmy's Gourmet Popcorn - served at the first and third base burger and hot dog stands
- Loco Pops - stand located in the first base main concourse
- Pie Pushers Pizza - stand located in the main concourse behind home plate
- Rita's Italian Ice (locally owned franchise) - stands located in the main concourse on both the first base and third base sides
- Two Roosters Ice Cream - stand located on the right field Diamond View concourse next to Wool E. World
The DBAP is cashless
Durham Bulls Athletic Park is a cashless facility in order to encourage decreasing transaction times, creating faster moving lines and improving overall guest satisfaction.
Only major credit and debit cards and pre-loaded tickets are accepted at DBAP points of sale, including the Ballpark Corner Store and all food and beverage locations.
Promotions
Star Wars night will be on on April 27. Players and coaches will wear specialty jerseys, which will be auctioned off to benefit Duke Children’s Hospital and Health Center.
On Thursdays, the Bulls wear Rays throwback jerseys in partnership with the Tampa Bay Rays.
Many Friday and Saturday night games have fireworks after the game. On many Sunday games, kids age 12 and younger can run the bases after the game.
April 5, May 24 and Sept. 14 are Copa de la Diversión nights. The events celebrate Latin American and Hispanic culture with music, decorations and more.
On May 26, Wool E. Bull celebrates his birthday. Wool E. Bull will be joined by fellow mascots in attendance.
On June 28, Marvel’s Defenders of the Diamond Night makes a heroic return to the DBAP.
On July 4, the Bulls will have fireworks for Independence Day. The Bulls will also have postgame fireworks on July 5 and July 6.
July 5 is Military Appreciation night, which honors the men and women serving in armed forces.
Sept. 11 is First Responders Appreciation day, which honors first responders. It includes police officers, firefighters and paramedics.
Ripken the Bat Dog
Ripken the Bat Dog will resume his bat dog duties on the following dates:
- April 2
- April 6
- April 27
- May 11
- May 25
- June 8
- June 15
- June 28
- July 6
- July 27

- Aug. 17
- Aug. 31
